Gongs can produce such wonderful tones and harmonics, and while they are joy to simply listen to, this album can also be used as a meditation aid or relaxation tool. Just sit/lay down in a comfortable position, close your eyes and let the gongs do their thing. Allow yourself to trust the sounds to take you on the journey you are ready for in this moment. Each time you listen to them will be a unique experience, because you are always a different person.
The first six tracks are played on individual gongs, while the last two are an ocean drum and some bamboo grasses and are for grounding after listening to the gongs. The personality of the gongs are diverse and fascinating, and as always, it was a pleasure to play with them, to venture into their depths once more, and to be awakened to my own.
